I like this photo because it is different to other self-portraits. The angle is unique and very rarely used, the props are different (for example , the prop in her hand is making it look like she is a smoker, and this is very rarely used compared to the other prop which looks like a cup , this is most used in photographs.

Comparison essay
In the Friedlander picture I can see A reflection of 2 men, who are standing away from each other. The person in the foreground and middle ground looks like he is holding a small mirror or camera. In this photograph I can also see 2 tall doors which look like a delivery van, the streets in the back ground look quiet and looks like a neighbourhood with a important business man standing in the background as if he was waiting for him to take the photo.
The way the photos are contrasted is they are all in different locations and different areas. Another way they are different is they all use different objects for example Kenneth Josephson uses cars and a square whole where as Francesca woodman uses a mirror and door.
Something that is mysterious in Francesca woodmans photograph is there is a small door and there is only one hand in the photograph. Another thing the is mysterious is the guy in the back of Lee friedlander photo was standing in the position as if he was waiting for the guy to take the image.
